Happy Birthday to Kay Brown and Lauren Black

 
bulletI did parties for the classes with the top 3 places for labels and box tops.
bulletI helped with station sensation at school.
bulletThere was a last day of school ice cream party at our house.
bulletLauren got all A's on her report card, and Lindsey got a lot of S's.

We took a trip to Brazil.

We saw Grandma & Grandpa Brown, Great, and the Riders.

The girls and I went to Jen Black's bridal shower.

bulletLauren Lindsey, and Jared all took a week of swimming lessons. Dennis and I both helped Lindsey and Jared.
bulletOur family went to one of the metro parks to hike on trails and play.
bulletThe kids and I went to the zoo with Lindsey's friend's family and saw the new Africa exhibit.

bulletWe spent the week at Girl Scout Day Camp "A day in the Rainforest".   
bullet I was the leader for the tag a longs. 
bullet We did ceremonies, cooked our food, went on hikes, played games, sang songs, earned badges, did face paint, played, and made new friends.  We all had a lot of fun!

She had a zoo animal party

The girls got their faces painted like cheetahs, played animal charades, and searched for peanuts pretending they were elephants.

They made a beady panda key chain and ate panda cake and ice cream.

They opened gifts and played with the hamster.

 

Congratulations to Jen and Chad on the birth of Zachary Peebles, born June 28th. 

 

June 29th, it was a year ago today that Ray Reed was taken too early from us. 

Though he is not here in person today, he will always live in our hearts!
